Warranty Check

We operate as a third party and cannot guarantee the retrieval of information based on your submission. Our team will make every effort to check with vendors and manufacturers to provide the most accurate details available.

Please be advised that when we check a warranty, if we are not made aware that the equipment is installed in a commercial application and the warranty claim is subsequently denied, the responsibility for any cost difference will fall on the customer. It is crucial to inform us of the commercial nature of the application to ensure accurate warranty verification.

Data Plates

The data plate, which contains the model and serial number of HVAC equipment, is typically located in a visible and easily accessible spot on the unit. Here are some common locations where you can find the data plate:

  1. Furnaces: Look for the data plate either inside the front panel door or on the side of the unit near the burner chamber.
  2. Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps (Outdoor Units): The data plate is often located on the exterior of the unit, usually on one of the side panels or on the back.
  3. Air Handlers and Evaporator Coils (Indoor Units): Check inside the access panel or on the side of the unit where it's easily visible when the panel is removed. Recommend a professional technician access evaporator coil data plate for you or retrieve that information from your paperwork.
  4. Thermostats: In some cases, especially for more advanced thermostats, the model number may be located on the back of the unit or inside the battery compartment.
  5. Ductless Mini-Split Systems: For indoor units, the data plate may be inside the cover or on the side. For outdoor units, it's typically on the exterior of the unit.

If you're having trouble locating the data plate, refer to the owner's manual for guidance or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
